Biography
BROAD SKILLSET
Mark J. Stevenosky, Jr. is a Senior Associate with the firm. Mark practices in all aspects of intellectual property law, focusing primarily in patent application drafting and prosecution and non-infringement and invalidity studies in medical devices, electronics, communications, computer software, machine vision, image processing, optics, and the mechanical arts. He also has experience in conducting due diligence, licensing and acquisitions, and patent and trademark infringement litigation.
ON THE CUTTING EDGE
Under the direction of Professor Jack Gallimore, Mark developed techniques for extracting point source information out of images of galaxies using wavelet transformations. Mark developed programs to analyze galaxy data as well as perform statistical error analysis in a comparison of various methods to determine best extraction method. This research resulted in publication in The Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series, Volume 187, Number 1.
